This picturesque bay has been used for background shots in many Hollywood films such as Dr. Doolittle and Fire Power. Marigot Bay is a historic landmark, having been the site of a number of battles between the French and British navies. It’s the home of many cruising yachts as well as a safe harbor during storms. The north side of Marigot is accessed only by boat – but that’s merely opportunity for small ferries who offer 24 hour crossing to that side of the bay as it only takes a few minutes .
