Gros Islet Street Party

You maybe have heard about this famous street party, where every Friday night starting at sunset, the streets at Gros Islet comes alive with the residents of Gros Islet firing up their barbecue grills, icing down their Piton beers, setting up table-top bars on the streets, and getting ready to welcome thousands of enthusiastic personalities to their fishing village. Arts and crafts vendors lay out their stalls, and the town center becomes the DJ central, as a giant sound system cranks up and keeps the street party going until the early hours of Saturday morning. With barbecues grilling everything, from zesty pork and chicken, to the freshest fisherman’s catch, lobster, conch ect, be sure to bring your appetite when you come to enjoy this sizzling atmosphere! 

St Lucia Rum Tasting and Distillery Tour

Plan a trip to St. Lucia Distillers to experience the behind-the-scenes tour and tasting this excursion. Often referred to as ‘stairway to heaven’, Tet Paul Nature Trail is know for its stunning view of the pitons. An easy 45-minute hike takes you through 6 acres of fertile land plush with a variety of indigenous trees. You will have an unforgettable experience as you climb a natural staircase and learn about the local culture while enjoying spectacular views of the Pitons on this half-day trek.

Explore Marigot Bay

This picturesque bay has been used for background shots in many Hollywood films such as Dr. Doolittle and Fire Power. Marigot Bay is a historic landmark, having been the site of a number of battles between the French and British navies. It’s the home of many cruising yachts as well as a safe harbor during storms. The north side of Marigot is accessed only by boat – but that’s merely opportunity for small ferries who offer 24 hour crossing to that side of the bay as it only takes a few minutes . There is so much that can be done at Marigot Bay from dining at renowned restaurants to exploring the beaches, watersports and shopping to name a few as all amenities are easily accessible.
